Conspiracy theory

Hi! I would like to discuss with you a widely known subject of a worldwide conspiracy plotting to take over the total control of the humanity.

Although I have always been very sceptical about any conspiracy theories, completely ignoring them would be just as stupid as thoughtless believing and following them.
Internet favours the spread of any kind of ideas. Anyone can write anything he wants and thus make people believe in it by providing more or less imaginary evidence and arguments.
The general mainstream media trend is to stay sceptical or even laugh at those who do it, usually without even attempting to discuss it.
But let's think for a moment. Why shouldn't we think for a moment about how much truth there is in these words?
Why should we trust people who say that all that is not in the mainstream media is worthless, paranoic or ridiculous?
They might be just as right as anybody else…

Recently I saw a movie called “Wake up call”, and that's what I would like to discuss with you. The general idea is that the world is ruled by people who are plotting against all of us.
They are rich and powerful, they are the "elite" of this world. In their hands there are banks, international companies, governments, armies, communication networks, almost everything. Who are they?
Owners of companies, influential politicians, banquers… they stand behind the powers that nowadays truly rule everywhere. You probably already heard about them.
Their names appear at the first pages of the newspapers. Rockefeller, Rotschild… and many others who remain in shade.
It's no longer people or governments who are in power, it's the international capital. And this is being concentrated in the hands of those few…
Their aim is to spread total control over humanity, and this is to be done by taking away the freedom, step by step. Sounds nasty, doesn't it?

What do you think? A little exaggerated for you?
Should we reject any conspiracy theory without thinking?

  1. Sounds like a scenario for the next Hollywood movie. I agree with the fact that we do not know everything and there seems to be an elite group of people who have much more power than mere mortals, but I would not go so far to say that there is a global conspiracy.

  2. There's about 200 countries around the World, where live more than 6 billion people all together... And we can repeat it hundreds of times that we all are brothers and sisters, but on the other hand...

We all are competing and we all have contradictory targets or needs. So I can believe there is a grain of truth in every single conspiracy theory. But definitely we cannot talk about global conspiracy. It would be to complicated to manage, and control.

But anyway TV, Newspapers, and the media in general are not able to show us the whole truth. You cannot get the full view just by wathcing the news. The World we live on is a great scene, where we all are the actors in some silly play that is all about the money, oil, the power...

  3. I liked to watch some conspiracy theories about 11.09.2001. I recommend here "Loose change" - easily to be found on Youtube (even with polish subtitles). People state that US government did all of that beacuse they needed to have reason to declare next war to gain some new sources of fuel. Authors of that movie state that bombs were professionaly planted in the WTC building thanks to witch they collaped vertically, not onto some other buildings.
Another interesting rumors where about 10.04.2010 polish plain crash. Some people stated that Russia made the fog artifically (if they can make beautiful weather every when they have those famous parade so why can't they make a thing like this?)
For me it is interesting to watch things like that and see how people are trying to explain something that they can't believe it really happened

  4. In my opinion that’s could be true. It’s quite realistic scenario.
Just in example every one of us heard about Mason’s community. People said specific organization associating only wisdom people. Probably the reaches group ever created just to lead the World. It’s commonly known if you collected sufficient amount of money, you would always want to achieve something more. The things are power and authority. Also I think every worldwide event is being planned firstly: Global crisis, increasing petrol prices – sort of speculation called ‘bubble’.

  5. I agree with Tomasz, that Freemasonry is a perfect example. Plenty of rich and respected people declare their participation in this organisation, including many well known politicians. Therefore we can't reject that there are powerful and mysterious communities sharing well hidden secrets and goals.

Also WikiLeaks showed us lately a tiny fragment of information that normally is not available for common people, probably a top of an iceberg. Secret services exist and we don't know their ways ;-) It's in the interest of every country using nonofficial agents to hide their acts, so media don't show reality. They create it for us, the little ones :-)

  6. I do not believe in conspiracy theories. It's not about some mysterious agreements of people who wish to take control over our planet. It's just about the constant greed for money of the richest people. Having control over some regions in the world or access to some resources - this means
having more and more money. Even controlling the habits and behavior of people is not because of any other reason than money. For example, corporations put a lot of effort when it comes to their marketing research as they want to know the mechanisms that make people buy certain products. However, due to the newest theories, marketing is not about recognizing people's needs but about creating those needs. This, of course, leads to bigger profits of those in control. Again, it's all
    about the money.

I would not recommend ignoring all theories though. The best solution is to have a critical approach towards all information that appear in the media and in the Internet. Do not accept everything without thinking but, on the other hand, do not ignore the grain of truth that may always
    be present.

  7. People see the world through TV, newspapers, radio, and other censored the media, few of us know what is happening outside the media.
I would like to believe that the 'elite' people do not decide when will be a crisis, war etc.. People elite as you mentioned - people who are above the level of presidents and prime ministers. These are people who really make final decision and are neither monitored nor disclosed. If we think that we live in a controlled population, it is nothing
compared to this, in what will have to live our children - in the population of the microchips.

  8. It always was that the rich people controls everything. Very much depends on them. They have thier own corrupted politicians. Even on wars, large corporations have influence. On war this is the biggest profit.
People are controlled by the media which controls information, so we are not aware about decisions taken behind the scenes.

  10. I don't believe in conspiracy theories but I would not be surprised if movies like 'The Manchurian Candidate' or 'The Da Vinci Code' told us the truth. Sometimes I feel that nothing will ever surprise me...

Yesterday I saw 'Limitless' movie. Maybe it's not exactly about conspiracy theory but there is a mysterious pill that gives people artificial abilities which leads them to riches. It shows that the reach people can do anything without consequences (Piotr Dorywalski said about it). It is so sad that some group of people can manipulate other people (let's look on 'obroncy krzyza').. :) Everyone can see that they are connected to Smolensk's theory! Remember, point of view depends on the point of the seat, so everything can be conspiracy.

  11. Of course we shouldn't reject any of these theories just out of the box.

As for the question of who is in power: money is power, it's like this for a long time. Governments are borrowing money from private companies so in my opinion essentially they are handing the power to them.

  12. It is nothing new that there are certain people that pull the strings in economy, politics and --more or less -- our everyday lives. I'm pretty sure that most of the news stories that we see on the TV, hear on the radio and read about in newspapers or the net are not pure facts, or at least they consist only of a subset of the truth. Having said that, I think that we should take the conspiracy theories into the consideration, but also do not blindly believe in them.

  13. I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories. I agree with the statement that nowadays everyone can write what they want on the Internet and make it seem surprisingly believable. My opinion is that conspiracy theories are made up by people who have too much free time and probably have some grudge on the people they complain about. It's a typical movement to gain masses' attention - 'Look. They are rich. They rule. We should rule because blah blah conspiracy blah'. It's playing on (un)educated/unintelligent/unlucky (choose many) people's feelings. They want 'social justice'. Either way, there might be some truth in the theories but I wouldn't recomment having sleepless night thinking about them.

  15. I am always sceptical about all conspiracy theories. In my opinion many people like to think, that there is a big mystery beyond us. It is an easy way to explain that not everything in the world looks like we want.
What is really good in this theories? Movies, TV series, books. Who hasn't seen 'The Da Vinci Code' or 'The Game'? I have and really enjoyed them ;)
Have you watched 'The X-Files' as a child? When I was 10 I thought it is the best television series ever. ;)

  16. @s4554 They have money, power, resources, everything what they want... I think that they want have "control". Control not me or You, not people in Poland, Europe, or USA... In my opinion they want control ALL world.

Did You hear about Federal Reserve System conspiracy?

The Federal Reserve System is the central bank of the United States, though NOT a part of the government. There is a theory that the Federal Reserve System is designed to transfer wealth from the poor and middle classes of the United States to the international bankers of the NWO...

  18. Conspiracy theories - they always exists and will appear as long as human being exists. They are very common in the "big" life such as politics, business ad world of celebrities connected with huge amounts of money but in the"little world" as well. Ordinary people also create some rumors or even conspiracy theories. I think that this is one of the biggest amusement for all people and it makes them life more interesting and not so predictable...

  19. Although it may sound a bit exaggerated I still agree with Adam that we shouldn't reject any of these theories as we are unable to disapprove them due to no well known facts. There are people having great power over public life, same as there are people controlling prices on the market. Trully despicable, but I'd say it's true.

I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories but I believe that most governments at some point in time needed money from private companies or investors and therefore will never be able to be independent in mind or in judgment.

  20. what is in your opinion the reason behind the NATO intervention in Libya? Why would they profit from the fall of Kaddafi? Is it petrol again?

  21. Conspiracy theory always exists but it is not a problem. The problem is whether you are wise enough to realize that if it was truly a conspiracy you won’t e the last one to know about it. There are no such thing as a known conspiracy. Everyone should be able to understand just because something is widely spoken about does not mean it has to be true.

  22. I think that it doesn't even matter if conspiracies theories turn out partially true. We are too small to care.

And of course any successful conspiracy shouldn't be known wide in public.

  23. Some time ago I watched the movie on youtube "Kartel farmaceutyczny" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw35QwKuHtc This movie show as that pharmaceutical area is the conspiracy as well. I believe in the possibility of conspiracy theories but we have no proofs and for us this is only as good movie scenario.
