Questions:
1) What kind of Italian food are You prefer the most?
2) Why Italy is famous for a great wine?
I'm a big cappuccino fan. Nonetheless, espresso is the most energizing drink I've ever tasted. Another thing is that I'm a fan of spaghetti. Especially with pesto and tomatoes and a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteGood, original Italian pizza is my favorite dish. Unfortunately in Poland I can't find anything that is even close to the ones in Italy.
ReplyDeleteItaly has a long history of making wine, the climate is great so I suppose this is the reason.
I love most of Italian dishes becouse they are usually full of garlic and various herbs. In September, during my trip to Germany for a first time I visited really good Italian restaurant and I must agree with Adam - it's something completely different than food that I tried in Warsaw.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite dessert is tiramisu - probably beacouse I love mascarpone cheese and coffee aroma.
I don't drink wine so I don't feel like an expert but I'm sure that Italy with its wonderful Mediterranean climate and rich tradition is a perfect place for production of this liquor.
I'm not original - i like pizza. i have never been in Italy, but i prefer my home-made pizza in numbers of variations. I don't think they are really Italian-style, but who cares? ;)
ReplyDeleteAbout wine, i have heard that high quality of Italian vine is caused by specific soil in this region.

ReplyDeleteI have a few Italian favorite dishes. All kind of a pasta, no difference about the souse. Carpaccio – it’s a dish of raw thin sliced meat or fish (mostly beef or salmon). Caprese – is a simple salad made of sliced fresh tomatoes, sliced mozzarella cheese and basil (or basil souse), served with salt, pepper and olive oil. I don’t like Italian way of pizza. In my opinion is too thin and fried. Like a wafer.
ReplyDeleteThe best Italian pizza I’ve eaten in Warsaw. There is also very good Italian drink – Bombardino, well known from Ski resorts. It’s a hot served alcohol drink contains rum, whisky, Advocate and a little bit of coffee. There is a variation with whipped cream. Very tasty and really perfidious or tricky. Drink two or three and forget about further skiing…
Italy is a wine kingdom because of Mediterranean climate, long sunny periods and best condition to cultivate the grapes.
I like many italian dishes hard to choose one..I love all kind of pasta I know that they have million ways to do this meal, my favourite is this with eggs. I tried it on the south of Italy and it was delicious. But the best thing ever on this earth is dessert called Tiramisu! made in Italy of course. It's very light and has delicate flavour, just melt in your mouth. This is one of these things you have to try during your travel around Italy.
ReplyDeleteAnd about second question I agree with Tomasz the reason why Italy is famous for a great wine is favourable climate, much sun is good for grapes.
I really like the spaghetti of all kinds. But my favorite pasta is well cooked carbonara. I like pizza if it has a lot of additives and is on a thick batter. As for wine, I would agree with all a lot of sunshine and favorable climate.
ReplyDeleteI love pizza, Italian coffee, mozzarella and many kinds of pasta. I have never been in Italy, so I can't compare it with original cuisine.
ReplyDeleteAbout wine I agree with my predecessors.
I like Italian food , the most pizza and pastas (but not all of them, I like especially penne and don’t like spaghetti). I think that Italian wines are good because of the fact that in Italy there’re lots of vineyards, also appropriate soil . And of course there’s a tradition of making wines, which didn’t change for so many years, Italian just know how to do it.
ReplyDeleteI like the most pizza and some pastas, I don't drink wine so i don't know anything about wine
ReplyDeleteI am a fun of real Italian pizza, especially with fresh rucola on the top..., for appetizer I would choose beef carpaccio topped with fresh parmezan cheese... I would end my Italian dinner with a real tiramisu served with juicy strawberries...
ReplyDeleteI don't really like Italian whine, they are to sour for me, I'd rather prefer whines from South Africa, Chile or Spain.
Italian cuisine is the best because it uses a ready-made meals. It is characterized by the use of large quantities of vegetables and spices such as oregano, basil, pepper, tarragon, thyme, rosemary, and the use of Parmesan cheese, and I very much like those spices. In the kitchen olive oil is commonly used or , tomatoes and onions and garlic, and olives. Italian Cuisine specializes in dishes especially flour and fish and seafood. Food just perfectl for me!
ReplyDeleteMy personal favourites are the Italian classics - pizza and lasagne. Unfortunately during my skiing trip to Italy the food wasn't that good and now I think it is overrated. The food poisoning didn't help. I think I will stick to eating Italian food made in Poland.
ReplyDeleteMany people obviously like Italian wine which is why it is so popular.

It reallly tastes great!
